Earlier in the year my sister and I abducted all our parents' photo albums with the intention of scanning them for safe keeping. You know, just in case. Well did I mention that was earlier in the year?
Ahem.
So lastnight my mom calls me and asks for the photo albums back. I tell her no problem I'll drop them off when I get off work today, but all the while in my mind I'm thinking "CRUD! WE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED SCANNING EVEN ONE PICTURE YET!!! WE ARE PATHETIC PROCRASTINATORSSS!!!"
So after making with the clicky-clicky with my mom, off I rushed to scan!
I've had this scanner for about two years now. You'd think I know how to use it after two years?
Eight hours later I was able to bask in the glory of my success of scanning and saving 20 photos. It would have been more like 100 photos had I not been so inexperienced in using my scanner and actually saved each batch of photos before the memory on my scanner crashed.
But anyways, that's not even what I want to talk about. I want to talk about this!

How much do I LOVE this picture? I mean, even though I look like a little boy sporting a short pony tail and the color of the carpet looks like a mustard factory explosion...How much do I LOVE this???
I LOVE it enormously is how much. And I'll tell ya why.
Did I even mention that I have a foot thing? Not a kinky foot fetish in which I worship feet. Nope that's not me. However, if I happen upon a guy who wants to worship my feet, that's a whole nother story. Ahem. Nope. My foot thing is that no one touches my feet. And if you try to touch my feet, be prepared for some serious kicking and screaming on my part, all in an attempt to escape whatever evil feet tickling plan you may have in mind. And also, in my attempt to escape, should I kick you in the goods, well I warned ya.
But if you will notice in this pic, besides the fact that I look happy because I've got my book in hand and got to sit on the chair of our new vanity table, my little toes are wedged between my sister's little big and second toe.
Awwwww!!! :)
The other part of my foot story is that if I love you and trust you, you have access to my feet. And there's the proof of it. Many, many years before I could even articulate love and trust in words, my love and trust of my older sister, and I bet my parents didn't even know what they were taking a picture of.
Also, something funny to me. In all these pictures, I can't find even one picture where my sister and I are holding hands. But there are many others in which our bare feet are touching.

OH! How Cute!
I noticed the foot thing right away!!! Can't wait to see what else you've scanned. The two of you are beyond adorable...
